I LOVE hiking in the beautiful S.F. bay area with my husband, Gerry. During the week, I hike with the Montclair Hiking Club. Reading is a favorite past-time, I always have a good book or two by my side. Culinary interests are high on my radar...continually experiencing new restaurants in our "Gourmet Ghetto" in the East Bay. Thank you Alice Waters for making Berkeley your home and home to so many talented young chefs following in your footsteps! Farm to table must have originated in Berkeley! I love the freshness of our philosophy here in the bay area...FRESH...like LOVE GROWN. How can you not love...LOVE GROWN!?

We in the USA are very fortunate not to be an oppressed society where to "live free" is impossible. I feel blessed to "live free" and "seize the day" as I wake each morning. Loving those around you and sharing/helping your friends as well as strangers...is to "Live Free"!
